- Is Marginal free?
- Yes. Marginal is free to use for local editing in the browser. A free account lets you save documents across devices, and paid features may be added later.
- Are my files uploaded anywhere?
- No. By default, everything runs locally in your browser. If you sign in with Google, only your saved documents are synced to your account.
- What file types work?
- Marginal supports PDF, modern .docx Word files, plain text, and .xlsx spreadsheets. Legacy .doc files are not supported yet.
- Can I use it without signing in?
- Yes. Continue as a guest to edit files locally. Sign in when you want your documents saved across devices.
